Cango Cave is about 20 km. north of Oudtshoorn.
The thousands of years old cave was about 1,5 km. deep into the mountain.
The cave consists of long tunnels linking the three huge caves. But because the tunnels were very narrow some places or going very much up or down, it was almost impossible to discover it in a wheelchair - So I only went through to the first cave, which was quite alright!

Cango Cave ligger ca. 20 km. nord for Oudtshoorn.
Around the Stone Age, people used to live here. In the beginning I thought that it must have been very cozy, but when I thought about it a second time I wasn't convinced. It must have been incredibly dark and dampy in the caves. Maybe it wasn't that pleassent at all.
The shapes of the limestones are magnificant!!! And it's amazing to think about how many years nature took to make this.
