Travelling with my boyfriend, Dieter. Have been doing it on -and off since 1991. I'm born with a physical disability and I'm in a wheelchair. I think it's wonderful to discover and learn about other countries -So I love to travel!

This is my, well our first trip to Africa, (except a trip I had to Tunesia many many years ago with a friend - And I've been told that Tunesia isn't really Africa). Anyway, I'm really excited!

Australia is an amazing country – For Dieter it is the no.1 place to go.
In 1993-94 we spent 10 month in Australia. The nature is wonderful and the people are unbelievable, helpful and hospitable as you can never imagine.

WOW!! What an amazing country. It feels like you have travelled to another time in another world - Egypt is like a giant museum, obviously loaded with great art, a thrilling history and fantastic scenery.

Our only really goal in Argentina was to see the Iguazu waterfall, which is a must when you're in the area. It's not because we don't want to experience all of Argentina - But when you have a time limit it's not easy to do it all.

After staying a short time in Argentina we went to Paraguay. To me Paraguay was an unknown country. I haven't really heard anything about Paraguay, except maybe when somebody talked football.
But I've never heard of anybody who had actually been there,

Our surprise was huge when we came to Santa Cruz in Bolivia. Bolivia/Santa Cruz is in some ways very developed compared to my imagination of it.
Actually we were not supposed to go to Bolivia, but when you're a travel freak it's sometimes hard to draw

In 2000, we were in South Africa, and we both enjoyed the diversity of the nature very much. So we decided to see some more of Africa.

We had to think twice before going to Botswana. We've heard that it would be terrible expensive, and not a place to go for buget travellers. But it's actually affordeble, even for the budget traveller.
