Our surprise was huge when we came to Santa Cruz in Bolivia. Bolivia/Santa Cruz is in some ways very developed compared to my imagination of it.

Actually we were not supposed to go to Bolivia, but when you're a travel freak it's sometimes hard to draw the line for when you should continue or when you should go back. We excused ourselves that Bolivia was almost on our way back to Brazil from Paraguay.

We chose to see a tiny corner of Bolivia and though it was a short trip it was a great experience and far from enough.
