Canyonlands , Utah - U. S. A.

The cooler was warm and smelly. Dave had spent the night with mosquitos in his tent AND tomorrow was the birthday of the kid's father, Dan.

It was time to go, and we started scheming on a surprise party for Dan.

Views Along the Way

Another view of the Green River.

Another of the many towers.

There had been a recent fire along here.

You can see the road carved into the canyon wall.

Up and Out

The road climbed up Horsetheif Point to get back on top of the Island in the Sky.

Our tour of the White Rim Road was coming to an end.

Reckless driving was not advisable.

Glenwood Hot Springs

After dinner we took in a soak at the Glenwood Hotsprings. This was real refreshing after the desert.

There is a 90 degree pool over two city blocks long. It is billed as the largest outdoor hotspirng in the world. There is also a good sized therapy pool maintained at 104 degrees.

A Final Night Out

Along the Sweetwater River
