I think I like being a teacher so far. The classes are small- my biggest one so far is 6 or so, I think tonight I will have a bigger one. Most students are adults, but a few kids are mixed in sometimes. I teach classes before and after work hours. I have one class at 7AM to 8:30AM, then 2 more at 6PM, lasting till 9PM. I do that Monday thru Thursday, then Saturday I tutor some students who are preparing for the TOEFL.

Im still not sick of Mexican food, which is good, because its tacos, quesadillas, gorditas, tacos again, chile relleno . . . its great. All of the kinds of food are pretty similar to what we in Minnesota know (I thought the authentic enchiladas, for example, might be different from what passes for one in MN). The exception are gorditas, which are really nothing like the Taco Bell item. You know how travel books say not to eat at just any old food stand on the street? Yeah, well, I've been eating stuff just anywhere and its great. No stomach problems yet. I drink filtered water though, which is what the natives do to I think. They at least boil tap water.

I think my Spanish is getting better little by little. I hope so. Im doing OK I suppose. People tell me Im learning quickly.
