For two nights and three days, Dieter and I stayed on this raft - Or floating hotel.
The raft was about 120 sq. m. and we were about 10 people. There were three double rooms and a lot of hammocks you could sleep in. Very Cosy!
Sometimes you went with a bunch of people in small boats, experiencing The Amazons, or you could go by yourself.

We struggled through the creepers and blankets of mosquitoes. The mosquitoes were not a delight but the felling of absence from civilisation and the intensity of the jungle, made the mosquitoes seem a small thing to deal with.
The birds and the monkeys screamed and occasionally you were fortunate to get a sight of them. Every now and then we heard a splash in the water in front or behind us – We kept an eye out for the branches above us. The splashes were often anacondas sliding into the muddy river. We saw the anacondas but luckily not dangling above our heads. – It was a daring and thrilling place.
