Don't let anybody tell you they know it all about travelling the world - because they don't.

Some know more than others, sure, but the whole reason (I believe), that we bother to do it, is to find out for ourselves. And, of course, nobody has been absolutely everywhere - although Michael Palin is having a bloody good go.

Thing is, when you've travelled, you want to tell every body about it, but only like-minded souls are truly interested.

So this Journal exists to distill our experiences into some sort of order. It's not a re-telling of the tale, but factual accounts of various aspects of what we did, and opinion on whether that was good for us or not. Whether it's good for you is up to you....

...but you'd be daft not to read it!
