Taking the advise of the couple we met at the world's worst restaurant in Toledo, we took a slight detour into the mountains to Ronda. From there we continued on to Granada, where for the better part of the next day, we toured the Alhambra. the elegance and rich history of this palace and garden simply took our breath away. It may have been the most memorable of our stops. After the Alhambra, mom and I took some time for mother-son bonding and explored the streets of the Old Town.
