One day I decided to look into volunteer work. Before I knew it I was being ushered into the offices of the Ministry of Poste and Telecommunications. So began a 4 to become 6 week stint of work. I helped the Ministry set up the first internet feed in Cambodia.

My workday was merciful. I would saunter downtown around 8 AM and have a breakfast of spicy noodle soup. At 9 AM I would arrive and work until noon. Then I was off to the International Youth Club for stretching, exercising and a mile of laps in their olympic pool. On my way back to the office I would stop and get a load of fresh fruit from a street vendor, spears of papaya and pineapple. By 2 PM I would be back in the office and work until 4 PM.
