When we arrived at Casa Gill, Dana and I let our guards down. Although we had just left my mom, so much had happened in a relatively short period of time. We needed a break, and Mike, Nicole, and baby Isabella were just what the doctor ordered. The Gills opened their home to us and treated us to some of the comforts we were missing - Memorial Day BBQ, Thai food, video movies, and NJ Devil hockey (on Armed Forces radio). We even called Sally for High Tea over the phone in memory of our time at Casa Grande in Portugal. We had a blast in Germany, and Dana did not want to leave so badly that she came down with a bad cold on the day we had planned to depart for Prague. Conveniently enough, this extended our stay at Casa Gill for 2 more days but only made leaving all the more difficult. Finally on June 2nd, we boarded a 9:19am train to Prague looking forward to a possible meeting with the Gills (and Lisa Vincent too) in London baby!!!!
