A Sense of Adventure
I'll be honest with you: Traveling today is much safer than it was 200 years ago. My adventures are nothing compared to the exploits and hardships faced by the likes of Lewis and Clark, Christopher Columbus, Marco Polo or Richard Francis Burton & John Hanning Speke. This is simply a journal of my experiences during the 3 weeks I spent in Africa. On these pages, I'm merely expressing my enthusiasm for travel, astronomy and the sorts of experiences that await anyone who is filled with a sense of adventure...
