Introduction
With time quickly running out we decided to get back to nature and opted for the Malaysian jungles and waters of Borneo. This rare Rothschild's slipper orchid was viewed in one of the many orchid gardens that we visited on the Island.
The area is known for the world's largest flower, the Rafflesia (over one meter in diameter). They take 6-9 months to grow and then bloom for only 7 days! Unfortunately, we did not see any during our trip but we did see many other spactacular flora & fauna.
