Just returned from a fairly incident prone trip! Actually i survived it, unbeliveably, but everything that could go wrong did go wrong!
Bus crash (though luckily ver minor), people falling off donkeys, everyone getting ill. One girl was blocked up for 6 days and the others were all unable to move from the bathroom for more than a few momments. Another girl had a liason with one of the Felucca crew and he tried to pursuade her to go and live with him! She was seriously thinking about it untill i pointed out the fact that a few days sailing up the Nile was likely to have given her a few romanticised illlusions that would be some what far removed from the harsh reality of egyptian life.
Not to mention the girl who came on the Felucca trip to conquer her phobia of climbing onto boats. She refused to walk on a plank and had a panic attack every time she had to crawl over the side. She completely froze or went completely hysterical.
Anyway am relieved to be back in Cairo and thankfully have a few days to recover before the next excursion. I'm on to the crusie ship next so a bit of luxury, finally. Althouh have become rather fond of the Felucca's
