We arrived at Lampam resort after dark. Everyone was tired and hungry so we feasted on excellent seafood before we retired to our rooms for the night. On the way to the room I spotted some of the fattest cicak’s (house gecko) I had ever seen. The most clever cicak’s had a pretty good system of spending their day’s behind the fluorescent lights and waiting until dark when the lights were switched on to feed on the numerous moths that were attracted to the light. I reckoned that’s how they had gotten so fat!

The next morning we packed up to head to Thale Noi, a protected wetland not far from where we were staying.
