The Jungle

Foz de Iguazú - Argentina

Foz de Iguazu is more than "just" waterfalls. Very close to the magnificent falls, you can walk on a small path through the jungle. It's a fairly good trail and beeing there in a wheelchair was not a problem. So it's a good oppertunity, if you are in a wheelchair to explore some jungle life.

I think that what you'll get to see of wildlife is totally depending on luck.

Dieter and I were lucky to see a number of birds, several beautiful butterflies and a group of monkeys. In the beginning they were in a distant were we could barely see them but they got closer and closer and at the end they started to scream at us and showing their teeth. We knew that monkeys van be pretty dangerous, because of their quickness and strength, so Dieter and I decided after a short while that it was time to go.
