I am a freelance writer, currently working on a book about orphans and vulnerable children in India. I began traveling to India with The Miracle Foundation (www.miraclefoundation.org) in 2005 to work with children in orphanages there.

Passage to India: 2005 8 Mar 2005  thru  31 Mar 2005 Last Updated 13 Feb 2007 This is the journal of my first trip to India, and into an orphanage there, in March 2005.

Return to India - 2006 7 Mar 2006  thru  17 Mar 2006 Last Updated 4 Mar 2007 The following year, in March of 2006, I again returned to India - this time with my 15 year old daughter, Chandler.
