Joel balancing on a tightrope!

Joel learning an art

In our walks around Railey we found someone that would teach Joel to walk a tightrope. In this case, the rope was only about 12 inches off the ground!

Snorkeling

We spent a day on a diveboat, snorkeling around Railey Beach. The beach is surrounded by small islands that provide havens for numerous tropical fish. We visited about three islands and saw tons of beautiful fish. Hong Kong Island/Chicken Island/Bamboo Island. Lots of fun and each of us left with a slight burn on our backs!

Noelle learning to cook Thai food

While Joel and Kathy were off rock climbing, I took the opportunity to learn how to cook Thai food. I had a wonderful day and learned alot about Thai spices. Miss Ya (our instructor) was great she was always making us "chop chop"!! If you ever travel to Thailand, it is well worth the time to take a cooking class!

Rock Climbing

Thailand - more specifically Railey Beach and Tonsi Beach - has some of the best rock climbing in the world, so Kathy and Joel took advantage of the opportunity and learned how to climb. They had a great time. Such a good time infact that they decided to do it a second day. The most thrilling part is getting to the top and jumping down!!
