On our way to my friend`s house a quick picture from the car in the area: Plateau Mt-Royal. All my friends live in that area which is two subway station from downtown Montreal and still offer a residential life with its numerous restaurants, cafés, groceries stores etc...

Une autre rue dans le même quartier. Désolé, je n`ai pas de photos du vieux Montréal où toutes les vieilles rues ressemblent plus à celles d`Europe que de l`Amérique du Nord.

Another street in the same area. I didn`t take pictures of what we call the Old Montreal where all the old buidings are and make you beleive that you are in Europe. Sorry. It is worth a visit!

Ici tout le monde aime bien manger et la plupart profite du retour à la maison pour acheter du pain, des légumes, des fruits bien frais. En marchant on passe bien de ces petits magasins de ravitaillement. Mes amis(e) font les boutiques; Josée, Kent et Izaac(bébé de 16 jours).

Here people like to eat well. Most of them on their way back home from work like to shop for fresh bread, fruits and vegies at the numerous little shop like this one. We are still in the same area; Le Plateau Mt-Royal. Most people go to work by subways and this main street is the main pathway to reach their little more residential transversal streets. Here are my friends who just had a baby and the mother is like a sister to me, we have been part of one another`s life since 4-5 years old.

Par hasard j`ai rencontré Julie Laguë sur la rue Mt-Royal. Ce fut toute une surprise et nous avons bien failli lui faire manquer son rendez-vous chez le dentiste. Cela faisait bien quatre ans que je ne l`avais pas vu. Salut bien, je t`embrasse et belle vie.

We encountered an old friend Julie Laguë alias Guë Guë. What a great surprise. We almost made her miss her famous dentist appointment. Love to her.

Christopher sait qu`il doit acheter ces pantalons mais il n`arrive pas à se décider. Mon verdict c`est qu`il en voudra, une fois rendu à Tombouctou.

Christopher`s shopping is always very painfull. I decided to keep a souvenir of him with his most needed item that he hasn`t bought yet and we are leaving for Europe in about 30 hours. Good luck.
