Wine Tour

We visited 4 wineries and lunched on a wine tour from 10 am - 2 pm. The area was beautiful, the wines and lunch divine and we felt as though we were suddenly catapulted back to the Niagara region (sort of?)! Without the beautiful mountains as a backdrop, this really could’ve been in California or Ontario!

The reflection you see on the leaves is sun not ice! There is no such thing as ‘ice-wine’ here as it never goes below 15 deg C. Rick was missing the snow & Janet was in heaven!

This was wine tasting in the afternoon at a winery that produced wine called ‘Goats-do-Roam’! Please note the glazed looks in our group's eyes (those with headgear). It was part of his costume for the afternoon festivities (see Bukima trip for more details). Rick also bought a cycling jersey with the ‘Goats-do-Roam’ logo that you can see in the next photo.

This is our Bukima Group photo in front of the beautiful gardens & wine region mountains.
