New Year, BKK: I wish you all the best!

Bangkok , Central - Thailand

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

Ho, ho, ho, ho....holiday season is upon us!!! (I really wanted to see Santa when I was a little kid...was I silly?).

Lights, Santa, & Christmas trees are everywhere!

I really like this time of the year. Bangkok is like heaven, being decorated by lights and stuff at every corner. The best part should be downtown, i.e. Sukhumvit and Central World Plaza (former World Trade Center) area. Lots of tourists and even local people never forget their camera to keep nice shots, and I'm one of them :)

Beer Garden, WTC: We Miss You!!!

Since Bum got the operation on her leg, we (Bum, P' Num, Nuntida and me) didn't get to celebrate this New Year at Beer Garden, WTC as always. Oh well, we feel like we miss something important!

P.S. Before Bum's operation, we went to beer garden at Suan Lum Night Bazaar. As Nuntida's company is a partner of Asahi beer, we went there on the promotion (which we thought we didn't have to pay...but we ended up paying anyway :( )

The traffic never knows 'Holiday'!

This is a picture made on the fly over between Central World Plaza and Gayesorn Plaza, two luxurious department stores I can never buy anything from!

The pic looks nice; however, I don't think those people waiting for an hour to get to move their car for 2 Cms like it much. Rajadamri is considered one of the bad traffic areas. Believe it or not, I used to be stuck here for 2 hours. Right, it will take only 10 minutes if you walk!

Best Place for Best Pictures!

It cannot be denied that the best place to take pictures of

yourself with the New Year atmosphere is in front of the

Penninsula Hotel on Ratchaprarop area, next to Regent Four

Seasons, another hotel with nice decoration. If I didn't go

there alone, I would take pictures of myself too.

Destination by Charles Akara

The foolish live their lives without a destination, Floating along aimlessly, Often finding themselves at the starting conditions.

The clever often set unreachable destinations, Bearing these burdens on their shoulders, Always regarding where they stand with dissatisfaction.

The wise know their ultimate destination in life, Meeting small destinations on the ladder to success, They achieve hope and happiness throughout their journey.

My Resolutions

1. To finish my thesis and spend time more wisely

2. To associate with only decent people

3. To live more sensible life (*ANGER is only one letter shorter than DANGER!)

"Whatever you want, I hope you achieve it."
